ABOUT ME

Scott Poythress has worked professionally for nearly 30 years on stage, studio features, indie films, and video games. As actor, producer, director and now award-winning editor he continues to stay busy on both east and west coasts. Recently he produced and stars in the indie psychological thriller I Trapped the Devil which can currently be seen streaming on Hulu and all VOD platforms. He will soon be seen in the Amazon Prime series, Underground Railroad, written for the screen and directed by Barry Jenkins. And later next year in the epic action film, Greenland, opposite Gerard Butler.
